Feeling On Purpose

"Whoa." Adam is the king of summing up the essence of an experience in simple utterances. A master of the onomatopoeia.

He'd just spent a quarter of an hour in an energetic pleasure vortex orchestrated by the hands and vibrational field of another of our friends. Time-space was curving differently for us all.

But it wasn't just the energy. We had spent all day weaving trances. And the day before that.

It was college, and really all our days were spent exploring consciousness in one way or another, alone and together.

"We had a group of people weaving generative trances for each other who were all really good at feeling good."

That was one of my best friends recently describing our senior year.

That culture of friends set us up for much of how our lives have unfolded.

It was a culture that valued presence, kindness, learning, and love. It was a space where becoming more deeply ourselves was at the center of everything. The bonds that emerged from doing that together, laughing all the way set a cultural watermark for me. After all, life is short, why not adopt your best experiences as the baseline for the rest of your life? And...curate your culture to bring out the best in you and those around you.

As we open the second month of 2024, I wish that kind of culture for you. And for me. And for all of us together.

And I encourage you to develop that kind of culture for you and your business on purpose. Remember, start with the best ways you already know how to feel and make sure you bring that to every aspect of your life, and make sure that the various aspects of your life bring that out in you.
