Feeling lost in life?
From the moment you are born, you receive social mandates that tell you how you should handle yourself in life. Your family, school, the media, and even advertising give you guidelines about what is right or wrong according to your age, gender, social status, etc. The reality is that you receive many messages about how your existence should be, which is very overwhelming. That makes you feel disoriented in certain circumstances, and you ask yourself:?"What should I do with my life? If you don't know how to go, take a deep breath and relax. Several psychological studies affirm that this difficult situation is a valuable opportunity to get to know yourself and improve your perspective.
Focus on yourself
You must direct your energy to know yourself better. Inquire about your desires, goals, and priorities. The most important thing is to establish what you are willing to do and what you are not willing to do to face a new life that is in tune with your essence.?
You cannot create or help others if you are not in the best position. My favorite quote about this is that ¨you cannot give what you are not¨. How are you supposed to create a business or improve in any field if you are surviving?
Respect yourself
You say to yourself:?"I have no idea what to do with my life," and?you think it's happening to you alone. The reality is that all human beings have gone through this situation. Psychologists and psychiatrists say that this personal circumstance is absolutely normal, so you should not feel guilty. Respect your feelings and work to transform that negativity. Accept yourself as you feel because that is the key to finding yourself again.
Many ancient religions used to see the human body as a temple. It is sacred, and so it must be treated with respect. What you are on the inside, you are on the outside. This means that you must treat your physical and mental body well. It's your greatest asset and the one that requires the most attention.
Manage your emotions
You are experiencing an intense emotional state, so it is advisable that you do not make important decisions. Avoid anger or acting impulsively because you could hurt yourself. What you can do right now is go for a walk, listen to your favorite music or write down everything you are feeling right now. That will clear your mind and balance you internally. Emotions are first created with our vocabulary; choose wisely how you speak about yourself.

Prioritizing the present
Put your full attention on the present time, as you fully control what is happening to you here and now. You have the inner strength?to design the life you want?to live from now on. All there is now. The best time to do something is now. Live the now to the fullest; if you keep letting your emotions control you, your past will be your present and your present your future.
Gratitude
Although you are living in a situation where you don't know which path to choose, you should know that you have reason to be grateful. Look around you, and you will find positive aspects of your life: you have a house, food, good health, friends, pets, etc. Feel grateful for all the good things that are already in your life. Gratitude drives away negative emotions such as anxiety, fear, or sadness. You begin to feel good and project positivity in your external world.
Take action
Once you feel strong inside, you can take action and apply the necessary changes in your life to make it meaningful to you again. Set priorities, set goals that matter deeply to you, and work to make things happen. Take all the time you need but remember to move forward at least one step daily. Remember that the circumstance of not knowing what to do with your life can lead you to experience the reality you truly want to live.
Now that you are experiencing an opportunity for inner growth, be inspired by the fabulous changes that will happen in your life.?
Learning and reading are great weapons?for this change. The more you know, the better decisions you can take.
So feeling lost in life is a temporary state.
So remember that everything that goes down must eventually go up. That feeling of loss is a temporary feeling that needs gratitude and clarity. You feel this way because you are preparing to live a new stage. This moment is needed. When you are in this situation, the best thing you can do is to remember that you won't feel lost forever; the sun eventually comes out.
