To Feel Appreciated Feels Good!

I received a short note from a vendor that hosts my webpage last week, and it took me by surprise. As a contingency recruiter, I work long and hard for all of my much appreciated clients, often times-with some, all for not.

I do not earn an income while conducting searches for just that right fit, but am confident in my abilities to do my due diligence, screen the candidates very tightly, making sure they check all the boxes, and personally, I am a "one and done", never expecting my client to do my job from a stack of randomly sent resumes!

I do believe that my loyal clients appreciate my hard work and efforts on their behalf. I love what I do, and have for over 25 years, and it shows in my ongoing contact and responsiveness, plus bringing to the table that solid match!

But on the other side of my job is the candidates. It was nice to receive this short reminder that I do change lives, help people, and elevate careers, while serving my clients.

This has been a tough year for all. Some businesses are thriving, construction seems to be doing well in Texas. But overall morale is dismal everywhere. So again, receiving the note below just made me smile, and feel good about my chosen field:

"Maybe it comes from growing up in and around the industry, from daily interactions with recruiters across the country, but I think we too often take for granted the true magnitude of what recruiting and staffing professionals do every day.

It may sound cliché, but it’s true. You’re changing lives.

Not many professions can honestly say they influence someone’s life trajectory with every action they take. When you take on a job for a client, they’re trusting you with their own livelihood and potentially that of scores, hundreds or even thousands of others, as you seek out the best leader for their organization. For those candidates you’re placing, you can change the entire path their life takes, placing them in new cities and circumstances that will influence generations to come.

Finally, you’ve changed our lives too.

It’s not an accident that we ended up in this business. For eight years, we’ve hitched our wagon to your star, specializing in websites and marketing for the recruiting and staffing industry. From just one recruiter who wanted to be a developer to a full team of 11 design, development and marketing professionals, thank you for changing our lives too.

Happy Thanksgiving. Recruiters Websites "

I highly recommend Recruiters Websites, and thank them for this very nice note of recognition.

Ending with God Bless Texas. And God Bless America!
