Feeding Hope Society Breakfasts

This spring, Second Harvest had the wonderful opportunity to gather with community members at our Feeding Hope Society breakfasts.

In Central Florida and beyond, the Feeding Hope Society represents a group of individuals who are not only philanthropic donors, but visionaries and leaders committed to ending hunger.

H.O.P.E. Awards

The Heart of Philanthropy and Engagement Awards are given to active donors who not only support the food bank financially but also make an impact in other ways, like volunteering, advocating, or attending events. The H.O.P.E. Award is given to an individual donor and a corporate donor each year.

Charles and Terri Lentz

The individual H.O.P.E Award went to Charles and Terri Lentz, who have been food bank donors since 1997 and have provided more than 600,000 meals for Central Florida neighbors facing hunger. They also regularly attend fundraising events and purchase Second Harvest's holiday cards each year.

Wawa

The corporate H.O.P.E. Award went to Wawa, Inc. . Wawa has been a long time partner of Second Harvest and has provided more than one million meals to Central Florida kids, families and seniors experiencing food insecurity.
