The Fed cut rates again.... Does this make sense?
Brian Curtis
Creator/Healer/Teacher/We all create our own reality. The solution is to move the needle towards conscious creation instead of unconscious creation.
Fed rates just dropped by half a point—what’s your gut reaction? I’ve been on this ride for a while now, having quit my job in 2021, and it’s been an interesting journey. Anyway, let’s get back to the rates. The Fed has been kicking the can down the road for so long that many of us are wondering how long this can last. It feels like watching the slow decline of an empire, like Rome. In the end, systems that feed on themselves eventually collapse, and historically, that leads to war—a battle for resources, or in modern terms, control over humanity. Fear drives these conflicts, and yet, few seem interested in finding ways to resolve things peacefully.
The real question is: have we heard any viable solutions from our leaders? Not likely. What we need are more voices speaking out against pride and the division caused by duality, but that’s a conversation for another time.
So, what’s happening right now? What does this rate cut mean? Consumer demand is slowing, and with it, trucking rates have dropped. The trucking industry hasn’t downsized its workforce, creating a squeeze for those barely getting by. Meanwhile, the cost of living remains high, which is why the Fed has been hesitant to cut rates, knowing it will trigger inflation. We’re seeing corporate production slow down too, and more people are struggling to meet their basic needs. It’s a cycle—when too many people feel oppressed, tensions rise, and historically, that’s how wars start.
Oppression comes when we place more value on one person’s time over another. Our society has been doing this for a long time. Cutting jobs to save capital is a form of oppression, like starving one part of the body to save another. Is this why we can’t find peace? It seems like we’re always in conflict, but peace is always attainable—on small scales, at least. So why can’t we achieve it on a global level?
The truth we seek points to something deeply personal and universal. It challenges the assumption that external events or people dictate our inner state. It’s about realizing that the only person responsible for how we feel is ourselves.
Why would I get upset over how someone else feels? The hard truth is that many people are still searching outside of themselves, thinking that external circumstances can create their inner state of being. But more people are realizing that this approach only leads to inner turmoil. Power lies within us, and when we allow the negative projections of others to influence us, we feel depleted, leading to trends like burnout and the rise of self-care coaches and consultants.
Boundaries are the key, and personal boundaries are becoming more defined. But until we find a healthier way to work together without creating toxicity, collaboration will remain stagnant. Ultimately, collaboration—when done right—leads to peace, but only if it stems from a place of inner balance.
The world is not inherently broken. It’s easy to point out what’s wrong, but who's to say it’s wrong in the first place? As I learn about myself, I see the collective experience mirrored in my personal journey. This process, like evolution itself, is natural and inevitable. From single-cell organisms to multi-cellular beings, this progression reflects an expansion of awareness, which is fundamentally the same as self-expansion.
The truth I hold is this: there has never been anything but the self. The self exists in three parts: the source or heart, the motion from that source (spirit or prime mover), and the physical manifestation or vessel (body). You can call it the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, or frame it in non-gendered terms like Parent, Spirit, and Child. These three parts, representing masculine and feminine qualities, form the whole of reality. What I’ve just described is all there ever has been and all there ever will be. Everything, no matter what, comes back to its source.
Whether we examine our own biofield or any electrical field in nature, the truth is the same. Everything originates from the heart and returns to it in a closed-loop circuit. The law of conservation of energy supports this: energy is never lost; it’s only transformed. No matter how far something travels, it will return to its origin. That’s the truth: everything we experience comes from within ourselves.
There are no open-loop systems in this reality. Everything is a closed circuit. You might ask, “What about others? Are they me?” In a way, yes. Look at the Earth’s field—one awareness, expanding and returning just like our biofield. Each person is a part of this larger field, and we all share the same basic structure of expansion and return.
This is the nature of reality: everything flows from source, creates structure through motion, and returns to itself in a balanced cycle. There are equal and opposite forces that allow space to exist. Without them, everything would either expand infinitely or collapse. This balance of polarities—positive and negative, masculine and feminine—is the foundation of existence.
Just because there are two poles does not mean that what you are looking at is not one thing. You may feel resistance to this if you believe in duality, and I understand this deeply—I have been double-minded for years. But the reason I’ve experienced success is that I’ve known this intellectually for some time. I’ve understood that my primary task has been to untangle the emotional blocks that generate negative self-perception, which is housed in my heart. It’s a vast subject that I won't delve into here, but suffice it to say, mastering the way we feel about ourselves—and consequently, about others—can take years.
It’s easy to say “we are all one” from an intellectual standpoint, but the way we feel about each other tells the real story. Duality has so deeply permeated the human experience that shedding it is incredibly difficult. It results in self-victimization, primarily because we are unconscious of the thoughts that create our outcomes. These thoughts eventually return to us, even if we don’t recognize it.
Now, you might ask, what does this have to do with the Fed lowering rates or the slow collapse of the global economy? If the collective is gradually moving out of duality, that shift takes a long time from our perspective. The end of an age and the dissolution of outdated structures may take 50 to 100 years, or even more. However, from what I’ve observed in modern spiritual communities, this process began long ago and is now accelerating.
One recent trend I've noticed in business is increased cooperation driven by self-care. It’s starting with healers, coaches, and consultants—professionals focused on helping individuals and groups function better. Yet, true self-discovery and healing are personal, so coaching and consulting have limited efficacy unless the underlying issue is well understood. I am just beginning to grasp this myself.
As money becomes scarce, whether due to inflation or deflation, people are forced to provide positive energy to be supported by their environment. We slowly start to learn that everything begins with how we feel on the deepest level. Old systems, built on duality and external fulfillment, are crumbling. They fostered a mindset where one person's time was valued more than another’s, regardless of productivity. The idea that knowledge makes someone more valuable than another is flawed, and here’s why:
If everything is the self, and I am the self, then the self has access to all that is, was, or ever will be. But this access comes through the heart space. The heart is the source from which everything originates and to which everything returns. Our brains are not the center of our biofield—they are part of the creative circuit that filters what comes from the heart. The heart is connected to everything, and how our brain filters that information dictates what energy and experiences come back to us.
If everything originates from the heart, shouldn’t we focus on perfecting how we feel about everyone and everything before setting mental goals? We are all built the same way. If I think negatively about any person, place, or thing, my mind is in opposition to my heart. The heart connects us all in space-time, so negative thinking creates an energetic conflict between the third eye chakra and the heart.

When two people think negatively about each other, they create a feedback loop of conflict, breaking down communication. If one person projects negativity while the other does not, there is a rebound effect on the one projecting negativity. In both cases, we are feeding on ourselves energetically, but the second scenario is more harmful to the projector. Spiritual practitioners have long understood this, which is why so many focus on heart health.
Hierarchical systems are an example of this energetic feeding in society. When we value one person’s time over another’s, we create an imbalance that is evidence of an unhealthy heart shaped by an unhealthy mind. People often argue that some roles come with more responsibility, but I question whether we need to structure things this way. Why take on someone else's responsibility? Isn’t each of us responsible for our own emotional state?
How we feel about one another is our primary concern because that stems from the heart. It's easy to judge someone’s temporary state, but focusing on how we feel—without taking things personally—leads to greater healing. By healing ourselves, we naturally heal the collective. If someone harbors resentment toward me, maintaining my own state of love and acceptance will eventually force them to confront and heal their negativity.
This self-healing process leads to greater wisdom, discernment, and heightened awareness. Through the journey, we begin to see the energies at play more clearly and develop the ability to navigate interpersonal and societal dynamics with deeper insight. Wisdom emerges from the pain, patience, and perseverance that come with self-healing, and discernment allows us to make choices that align with our truest intentions and the heart’s desires.
As we gain wisdom, we recognize that trying to force others into healing or cooperation is futile. Healing requires a personal readiness and willingness to confront one’s own inner state. Only then can we co-create effectively, in harmony with others.
When individuals are on different levels of awareness or healing, co-creative group work faces significant challenges. Creativity thrives in those who have healed themselves to a deeper degree, but this can unintentionally spark jealousy or competition. The true test of a cooperative is its ability to support each person’s healing journey so that everyone feels empowered and connected. Healing is foundational, and without it, cooperation falters.
Cooperatives can work, but only when everyone is on the same page, and decision-making remains balanced, without centralized control. Imbalances inevitably create resentment and lead to a fractured heart. However, through the journey of healing, wisdom, and discernment, we create a foundation where co-creation becomes a natural expression of our collective wholeness.

What does my heart want? My heart wants and knows it is connected to everything. It carries all the knowledge I will ever need, and I have witnessed miraculous healings. If we are living in a field of intelligence, where the things we see are merely snapshots of the present, then the only reason they don’t change is due to unconscious energetic momentum from the past. What do I mean by that? If we live in the past, we unconsciously pull it into the present, shaping our reality through old, stagnant energy.
Think about your physical body and how that applies to conquering it. If we can conquer our own state of being—our thoughts and emotions—we can manifest health in the present. Healing becomes possible when we come to an agreement with one another, something supported by spiritual texts across time. All we need to do is trust in our love for one another and the infinite potential of our hearts. Share a vision with each other and declare it healed.
Letting go of the past is something all of us must do to move forward, and I am no different. I believe our only true block is how much love we allow ourselves to give and receive. This is why I’ve always been so passionate about the heart space. Our heart is our source; it carries all the knowledge we need, in the present moment. The mind, in contrast, often fixates on the future or the past, expending energy on projections that draw us away from the here and now. This is wasted energy, which is vulnerable to the “roaming predators” of fear, doubt, and insecurity. Understanding this dynamic helps us see the deeper structures within our society and why things often feel fragmented.
Dr. Joe Dispenza and others are doing remarkable work unlocking the unconscious mind’s healing powers. All of this unconscious knowledge and source energy comes from our heart space. Connecting contemporary research with spiritual wisdom is essential to understanding what we’re going through as a healing organism. If we unlock the ability to parent our own creation—our bodies and minds in three-dimensional space—we conquer the fear of death.
I can tell you that my ability to heal myself has strengthened considerably on this journey. A major milestone was reached when I accepted my own ignorance. If my mind and vessel have access to the whole, but only through the heart, then I must accept that my mind will always have a limited picture of that whole. Accepting that I am and always will be ignorant has given me great freedom. All I need to do is follow my heart, and in doing so, the need to worry about the future or dwell on the past fades away.
Tension leaves the body once we accept this truth. Knowing that all our actions are done out of ignorance, unless guided by the heart, allows us to move forward with compassion—for ourselves and for others. It also becomes easier to forgive each other, knowing that judgments made from the mind are rooted in limited understanding. We often blame others for our pain, not realizing we are projecting our own ignorance onto them. Why blame someone for their ignorance when they don’t realize they are hurting themselves? If we get triggered by someone else’s actions, it is evidence of a wound that needs healing.
Recently, I watched the new Transformers ONE movie with my son and extended family. I’ve never seen a film more accurately portray this fundamental truth—that being disconnected from the heart leads to suffering. Characters driven by resentment and control only deepened their pain, while the one who loved and sacrificed for the good of the whole was entrusted with leadership. In the end, it was the heart, placed at the center of leadership, that healed the planet. The movie beautifully captured this truth.
I encourage everyone reading this to work on their own heart. Unlock your deepest desires for yourself. We all want the same thing at the deepest level. I also want to apologize if I’ve caused anyone pain along the way. I was ignorant of it, as we all are at times. I only hurt myself. From the heart, the mouth speaks. And as my heart heals from the past, I may have said things in the past that unintentionally caused pain. I carry no pain from any of you. If you’ve temporarily hurt me, it’s because I blamed you for my own ignorance. Unconditional love is very difficult to attain, until we attain it for ourselves.
We are all exposed to unconsciousness to varying degrees. We project our inner turmoil onto others, but this is something we all need to bring to light. In case you haven’t heard it from me yet, I love you. I know we are all doing our best to support one another. If we fall short, I do not believe it’s out of ill intent. Even if it is, that person is ignorant of what they’re doing to themselves. I will never hold anything against you because we are each on our own journey of the heart.
What that journey looks like for you is your decision. But I know that we will all end up at the same place eventually—back to the heart. And when it comes to the Fed lowering rates, I’ll leave it to you to decide if it really matters at all.
