February Update
I meant to write this the other day but honestly, I forgot lol
I had an idea and I chased it. I've written so many of these, at this point, I open up a new post and my fingers just start typing.
I'm 14 months into this challenge, here's where I stand.
At this point, I don't really care if I make the million in a calendar year, as long as I do it within a rolling 12 months, I'll consider this challenge complete.
That being said, I track my financial progress in the calendar year. As I get closer to achieving my goal, I'll update the parameters on my report. But for now, here's how much money I've made in 2025:
I have 3 businesses:
MarketingOps
I've been building this company for the last few years. We have been steadily growing and did $1.75M in revenue last year. But we have a team supporting us and reinvest all of the money back into the business. I take a modest salary which I classify as 'Consulting' on my books and this has been my main source of income for a while now.
This amount will not change and will not support me in my goal to make a million dollars.
Mind Mastery
This is a brand new company I am in the process of launching. It is a mastermind community focused on helping entrepreneurs build a million-dollar business by breaking down limiting beliefs and achieving ultimate freedom in their lives. I want to share the wisdom I've gained in doing this challenge over the last year and for me, it's the next phase in my own spiritual growth.
While it hasn't generated any revenue for me yet, this will be a primary driver of financial growth.
Etherealm Studios
I launched in July and for most of last year, this was how I was going to manifest my million. I've been working on a game that I plan to launch on Kickstarter. My plan was to hit my stretch goal of a million dollars in 72 hours. Along the way, I realized that the game I want to build didn't align with this challenge. It's more important to me to build my game the right way so I had to come up with a new plan.
Currently, I have two games in development but until published, they can't generate a consistent stream of revenue for me. I can raise a significant amount of funds when the game launches, then continue to sell those games over time but this is dependent on those games being ready to launch.
Here's The Plan
Mind Mastery is the primary focus because it's easier to get up and running. The business model is simple:
Based on some quick math...
Best case scenario, this business as planned can get me halfway to my goal. However, that's assuming I can sell every seat every time. I'm not selling the mastermind at full price yet so it's going to take time to ramp up. One year of membership is included so it'll be at least 12 months before I see any revenue from the community directly. If I have 10 people in each group, I can only sell up to those 10 a year later.
Using this business model, I won't get close to that half a million this year.
I could increase the seats in the group. I could run multiple masterminds that overlap rather than one at a time. I could record the content and sell it as a course. That opens up the community to more people and helps me scale past my available time. I could sell one-on-one coaching at a premium. There are a lot of things I can change or add along the way but I know this is where I need to start.
Then, I have Etherealm Studios and the games I'm developing.
I have two games I'm currently developing. I could easily get one of them launched this year, maybe even both. They each have the potential for expansions but that's probably not realistic for a launch this year.
My original plan was to launch my first game to generate the million. Instead, I'm going to release it in modules. I can bring it to market faster and use the feedback to build the rest of the game and expansions better.
The core game still has the potential to generate a million dollars. But even if it doesn't, it could easily raise several hundred thousand dollars. That's pretty typical for the tabletop gaming industry.
And if I get both games launched, my ability to hit my goal significantly increases.
Doing It The Right Way
At the end of the year, I made a conscious decision to deprioritize my goal of manifesting a million dollars by my original deadline of December 31st, 2024.
I found that the goal was conflicting with the goals I have for my companies.
I spent the first six months of this challenge finding myself and my purpose and getting aligned to what I truly wanted to do with my life. I am now on that path.
Above all else, I want to build my companies the right way. I want to do what is best for them and will not compromise in order to hit my goal. I will keep writing these until that happens but I refuse to take shortcuts. I have my priorities straight and that can only serve to help me.
I have let go of my goal and trust that the universe will guide me. In the meantime, I want to chase my passions and continue living my best life. Besides, everything always ends up working out for me : )

15 小时前Wow, your journey reminds me that success often comes from staying true to our passions and values, even if it means adjusting our timelines. I'm curious, how has this challenge changed your perspective on entrepreneurship and personal growth? And do you think more entrepreneurs should set ambitious financial goals, or focus primarily on building sustainable businesses?
