3D Data At Speed
Following our announcement of the acquisition of the Ultra 3 LiDAR we revealed the impressive 3D data sets from our flight.
Drone based Aerial Mapping Services from OR3D GEO captures large areas quickly and accurately, using laser technology to offer ground measurements through deeply vegetated environments such as forests, cliff faces and coastal areas.

Mid Scroll break….
Love is in the CT
OR3D CT spread the love this valentines day. We CT scanned (and enjoyed) puff pastry hearts with whipped cream, jam and raspberries. The results were pretty incredible.
OR3D CT used our RX Solutions EasyTom CT Scanner which involves collecting 100s or 1000s of digital 2D radiographs around the sample. These were then used to reconstruct a 3D CT volume.
The scan was then post-processed in Volume Graphics in VG Studio Max to segment and render to highlight the different layers of pastry with the cream and raspberries.
