February Round-Up

February Round-Up

Dear Business Partners & Friends

The world has witnessed some tragic events for the past few weeks with massive earthquakes hitting Turkey and Syria. From our fosera team, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to everyone affected by this heart-breaking catastrophe.

We are also actively reaching out to any parties that are open to joining efforts with fosera in bringing our Solar Home Systems to displaced people in the regions that are now left with limited or no access to electrification.

Feedback from the ground

In a new effort to honor our commitment to producing high-quality and built-to-last products, fosera has deployed its Service and After-Sales Engineer, Daniela Stuckrath, to Madagascar to investigate and handle technical issues regarding our fosera products there.

Considering the unpredictable weather conditions in Madagascar, the difficulty in the shipment of spare batteries, and the diverse uses for our devices. Daniela and a team of our partners' technicians have been on the ground in Antananarivo conducting extensive research to understand the issues.

As a result, an improvement implementation project has been enforced and will last until every system is thoroughly checked and upgraded.

Daniela has shared some of the photos she had taken in Madagascar and has reported the great impact our solutions have for individuals in everyday activities and especially in running their small businesses.

Fosera has been present in Madagascar for quite some time and is increasing operations within the country.

A recent study commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has confirmed our own impressions of Madagascar.

The study highlights the electrification poverty currently in Madagascar where only 14% of people in rural parts of the country have electricity. However, there is huge potential in utilizing off-grid solar energy to reach better rates of electrification in the country.

You can read the complete article on the project lead by Ministry of Energy and Hydrocarbons (MEH) about Madagascar and its electricity development here: https://www.giz.de/en/worldwide/111759.html

Our factory has the flexibility to produce to order and tailor each system to the customer’s specific needs. Our goal is to manufacture high-quality and durable products. Sacrificing quality for mass production and fast gain is not in our DNA unlike many other factories operating in the Solar space.

We ensure the health and well-being of our staff. We have achieved the Platinum level for Occupational Safety and Health Management standards in the workplace since 2019 from the Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. Moreover, we scored better than the average industry score for both Environment and Labor & Human Rights issued by the EcoVadis Academy.

Most importantly, we at fosera have no relation or ties to the blacklisted suppliers that are involved in the Uyghur Forced Labour and Global Solar Supply Chains. We only partner with suppliers that are well-known for their fair competition and free working environments.

Eager to know about our product portfolio and possible opportunities to offer fosera`s off-grid electricity solutions in your country? Reach out to our sales team: Contact Us

Looking forward to hearing from you!
