As I sit down to pen my reflections for February, I'm reminded of the fleeting nature of time and the importance of seizing each moment to its fullest. Despite being the shortest month of the year, February brought with it a wealth of experiences and opportunities for growth. 1. The AI Moment: On November 30, 2022, ChatGPT was born, heralding a new era of generative AI technology. Fast forward to February 16, 2024, and we witnessed the birth of SORA—an innovation poised to revolutionize the world in ways we can scarcely imagine. As I reflect on these monumental moments, I'm reminded of the profound impact of AI on our lives and the opportunities it presents for growth and innovation. This month, I completed my Coursera course on "Generative AI for everyone" by deeplearning.AI , made possible by Tencent's commitment to employee development. While AI continues to shape our future, let us harness its power for personal and professional growth.
2. The Power of Coaching: In February, I embarked on a transformative journey with the ICF Certified Associate Coach Training Program under the guidance of my trainer, Avni Martin . With her expertise as an inner child integration therapist, the experience was nothing short of profound. Taking a few days of annual leave after Chinese New Year for the physical training sessions, I look forward to clocking 100 hours of client coaching experience. Led by seasoned instructors from Singapore Red Cross , the session deepened my understanding of life-saving techniques. Learning CPR and AED usage underscored the importance of preparedness, empowering me to respond confidently in emergencies. Grateful for the opportunity to acquire these invaluable skills! ??
4. ?? Birthday Celebration & Conservation Adventure!February not only brings the festivities of the Dragon Year but also my birthday! ?? Thanks to Tencent's generous support, I had the pleasure of treating my family to a memorable day at the Singapore Zoo. From marveling at majestic lions to enjoying the playful antics of sea lions in the "Splash Safari" show, each moment was a celebration of nature's wonders. As a proud corporate adopter, Tencent's commitment to conservation shines through, reminding us of the importance of preserving our planet's biodiversity. Spotting the Tencent logo amidst the zoo's lush greenery served as a poignant reminder of their dedication to environmental stewardship.
