Celebrating Love

With a legacy of 40 years, it's no surprise that the organisation has seen a successful relationship among colleagues for many. Humble and soft-spoken Seenivasan Krishnamurthy , joined Titan's Hosur factory in 1988. Priscilla, a lawyer by education, joined in 1992. Separated by different teams on the shop floor, a bike ride to the Hosur market kickstarted a friendship that turned into undying devotion. Today, Seeni, as he's fondly known, continues to be a proud Titanian and celebrates his 25th anniversary with Priscilla. The Power of 2

Titan has always embraced differences and enjoyed the challenge of bridging them. The area where this shines most is our diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. Late in February, women at Titan, or Titanesses, from the middle management ranks joined forces with our leaders as well as industry stalwarts like Arundhati Bhattacharya and Sindhu Gangadharan for a day filled with sharing and learning on what helps women succeed - apart from their sheer determination.?Discussions revolved around mentorship, couple dynamics, familial support, and anecdotes. From the Valleys of Sittlingi?

Porgai Artisans association , a CSR partner, works with 60 Lambadi women in Tamil Nadu's Sittlingi Valley. With the aim of helping them gain meaningful livelihood, they've revived an age-old embroidery that was a dying craft among the clan. A migratory clan who call parts of the Deccan peninsula their home today trace their origins back to Afghanistan. However, the help of the Porgai Association, and the respect and fair wages from this new initiative have stemmed their search for a home and helped them put down their roots and grow into a new phase of life. Here's a glimpse into their story.

Inching Closer to 40

July 2024 will mark 40 years of Titan Company Ltd. A historic milestone, the upcoming months will undoubtedly bring a lot of excitement in the form of stories, goodies and more. Keep an eye on this space!?
