Security Fact?

?? Did you know?

Over 90% of cyber attacks begin with a phishing email. Attackers craft emails that appear legitimate to steal credentials, install malware, or compromise systems. Even the most advanced security tools can’t replace employee awareness and strong authentication practices.

Security Tip of the Month

??? MFA Is a Must!

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access. Ensure that all your critical accounts use at least two authentication factors, such as:

  • Something you know (password)
  • Something you have (authenticator app, smart card)
  • Something you are (fingerprint, facial recognition)

?? Pro tip: Use app-based MFA (like Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator) instead of SMS for added security!

Jargon Buster

?? Attack Surface – The sum of all potential entry points an attacker can exploit in a system. This includes software vulnerabilities, open network ports, and even human error. Reducing your attack surface is a key strategy for cybersecurity!
