Hangley Aronchick shareholders Cheryl Young, Helen Casale, and Steven Miano each celebrated 17 years at HASPS this month.
Cheryl advises clients, especially high net-worth professionals, in complex legal issues involving custody, relocation, divorces, property distribution, support, alimony and business valuation. She serves as chair of the firm’s Family Law Group and is known within the family law bar for her integrity and practical, straightforward approach.
Helen often takes on the most complicated cases in domestic relations law, covering all aspects of family law. She frequently writes and speaks on a range of family law topics and has repeatedly earned recognition across the state for her contributions to the field, including her 2024 recognition as one of Philadelphia Business Journal's "Outstanding Voices" for the LGBTQ+ community.
Steve has practiced environmental law for more than 35 years, the last 17 of which have been spent at Hangley Aronchick. Chair of the firm's environmental practice group, Steve's practice includes all facets of environmental law and litigation, including federal and state cases arising under the Clean Water Act, Superfund, brownfields redevelopment, energy development, real estate development and more. He is frequently tapped to provide insights on changing environmental litigation, to lecture on environmental regulations, and to mentor younger lawyers within the firm and around the country.
Family Law shareholder Colleen Norcross celebrated her eight-year HASPSiversary in January. She has been listed in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers for Family Law and, for the past two years, has been named to the Best Lawyers list for Family Law.
Associate Alex Egerváry celebrated his seven-year HASPSiversary this month. Alex’s practice is focused on private antitrust litigation, representing clients challenging anticompetitive practices such as reverse payments, exclusionary practices, and price fixing in the pharmaceutical industry. He maintains an active pro bono practice, including aiding humanitarian refugees with immigration efforts and working with a team of HASPS lawyers on a series of amicus briefs on behalf of anti-torture advocates. Prior to attending Columbia Law School, Alex worked for nearly 10 years as a professional writer, editor, and journalist.
