From a captivating streamer event to setting new records in video output, from dynamic stand design activations to the excitement of The Saudi Cup , and insightful discussions on IGFM, the SITA team experienced an action-packed month.

Streaming in Focus?

Ahead of the final ICE London, one of the busiest weeks in the calendar for our team, we thought we would kick off with our own curtain-raiser as SITA presented ‘Streaming In Focus’.?

Taking place over breakfast at the Covent Garden Hotel, the event was a fantastic opportunity to pick the brains of two of the most exciting streamers in the space and share some of our insight on the emerging space that is streaming.

The likes of Fruity Slots and Chipmonkz Slots , as well as SITA’s very own streamer enthusiast Aidan Cliff were on hand to speak ahead of a brilliant week at the ExCel for the community.

SITA at The Saudi Cup 2024

For the fourth consecutive year, we set off to the Middle East to run the press office and social media activity of The Saudi Cup , the world’s most valuable race meeting.

During our week in Riyadh, the team was up in the early mornings to attend trackwork and speak to connections, manage press conferences and social media as well as releasing breaking comments from trainers and jockeys, building anticipation ahead of the Saudi Cup meeting.

The pace continued into Saturday night, with the team busy grabbing social media content, sending press releases and managing press conferences during the main event.

The action on the track certainly didn’t disappoint, as the Brits landed two big prizes under the lights at King Abdulaziz Racecourse, with the Sir Alex Ferguson-owned Spirit Dancer’s victory being a major story. The Saudi Cup itself produced a nail-biting conclusion as Senor Buscador ran down Ushba Tesoro in the dying strides to claim the prize for the USA.

Our hard work over the week was well received and we achieved over 10 million impressions on social media as well as hundreds of pieces of coverage showcasing The Saudi Cup.

Celebrating Football in the North East

We headed up to Durham for the annual Football Writers' Association North East awards ceremony last month.

On behalf of our client William Hill , we captured content with famous footballing faces from across the North East, including former Manchester United star Michael Carrick, publishing the videos on William Hill’s social media accounts as well as distributing clips through Sunderland and Middlesbrough influencer media channels.

Welcome to the White Hat Village!

For the second year running our Design team was tasked to create artwork for White Hat Gaming ’s stand at this year's industry-leading event, ICE London 2024.

From beer cups and menus to the buildings themselves, the village incorporated cinema-themed meeting rooms, a brewery, a coffee shop and much more. This provided a great place to network and talk about all the brilliant deals they’re doing in the US.

Daniel Lechner , SVP Sales & Marketing at White Hat said: “The feedback on our ICE 2024 stands was outstanding! We have taken it to new heights by creating a full-on alley, featuring a cinema, bars and a coffee shop to give partners and future partners not only a stand to meet us but a fun environment that invited everyone to stay around”

ICE 2024

Armed with our largest video team to date, we took to the ExCel at the beginning of the month, as many others in the industry did too. During the 3 days, we collaborated with over 30 clients to create a staggering 100+ videos.?

The final ICE in London was set to be one for the books. The team worked with new and existing clients to capture insightful interviews with renowned industry leaders. We observed some clients opting for a more unconventional approach to corporate video, allowing us to produce some unique content.

As we reflect on our final experience at ICE London, we look ahead to next year in Barcelona where we hope to expand further.

In February we had the pleasure of sitting down with Tom Ustunel , the newly appointed CEO of Sportingtech . During our conversation, Tom shared insights into his vision for the company's future direction and strategic goals. Listeners gained a valuable perspective on the evolving landscape of sports technology and the innovative approaches SportingTech are undertaking in the next 12 months and shed light on the exciting prospects ahead for the new CEO.
