These new monthly worksheets were requested by Connie G. from Goodman, Wisconsin! They include friendly graphics, fun topics, a pop quiz, and info written at a 2nd grade reading level. Topics include:
Handout: What Happens During a Dental Visit? Students who are anxious about their first dental exam can read about each step of a routine visit to calm their minds and answer questions.
Handout: What Happens When I Don't Brush? This sheet details five results or poor oral health habits: bad breath, plaque and tartar, cavities, gum disease, and poor systemic health.
Article: All About Mouthguards Teens are required to wear mouthguards during most organized sports. Do they know the other activities that are a danger to their teeth?
Handout: What is Silver Diamine Fluoride? This easy-to-read sheet lists the benefits, safety, and risks of SDF so parents can make an informed decision about their treatment options.

Translated resources for kids and their caregivers are being added to our website regularly. Recent additions include "Nutrition For Mom & Baby" in Spanish (right) and a selection of activity sheets in Mandarin Chinese. Other languages include Arabic, Hindi, Somali, Urdu, Vietnamese, and more.

Service Project Opportunity: Smile Drive National Children′s Dental Health Month is the best time to hold a Smile Drive! (It′s like a canned food drive but for dental hygiene supplies.)
