Stancikait? in METAL MAGAZINE . We also hear from Bryce Wymer about some of the things he's been enjoying lately in this month's Artist Picks.
First up, we're absolutely delighted to welcome Brighton-based illustrator?Rosie Barker?to the Grand Matter roster. Rosie draws dream-like and surreal worlds transporting the viewer into different dimensions and back in time, featuring iconography, recurring motifs and vibrant colour palettes, buzzing with 60s and 70s nostalgia. Influenced by European comic artists and pop art, Rosie's work is bold yet detailed and has a strong sense of place, often exploring themes of travel, culture and psychology.
To introduce her way of working in her own words, we spoke with Rosie about what she loves to draw, how her pieces come together and following her fitness dreams!?

Artist Picks
This month we hear from Brooklyn-based artist and illustrator Bryce Wymer to hear about some of the things he's been enjoying lately.?
VISITED:?Brooklyn Museum"A few blocks from my apartment is the Brooklyn Museum and I spent the?better part of last Thursday at the Copy Machine Manifesto Show. A large portion of the 4th floor?was completely taken over with an amazing collection of?artist's zines and books from the 1970s- today.?Having grown up in the?underground zine culture of the 90's I was completely taken?with all the different ways artists have expressed themselves through these inexpensive DIY publications."?
(RE)READING:?Just Kids?by Patti Smith"I first read Just Kids when it came out over 13?years ago and I recently?read it?again and somehow it got even better. There is an elegant bluntness to Pattis' writing that draws direct parallels to her music. The way her and Robert Maplethorpe nurtured?each other?along their journey?is just beautiful."
LISTENING TO:?Searching for a Feeling?by Maximum Joy"For the last couple weeks I have been going on a deep dive into the?world where American funk music intersects with English post punk. Maximum?Joy are one of those bands that seems to be keeping that Delta 5, Slits energy alive."
