February has brought some noteworthy updates.

Immuno-oncology:?Bristol Myers Squibb’s latest results show that combining Opdivo? with chemotherapy significantly improved overall survival in certain lung cancer?patients — a promising sign for neoadjuvant therapies. Meanwhile, the FDA’s priority review of zongertinib, a HER2 inhibitor for advanced lung cancer, points to fresh treatment avenues.

Autoimmunity:?researchers at Penn State have developed an AI tool, the Genetic Progression Score, which forecasts disease progression from the preclinical stage. This could lead to earlier and more effective interventions.

⊕ These developments highlight the growing industry trend towards precision medicine and predictive analytics,?signalling exciting times ahead for both research and clinical application.

?We've also been busy at RoukenBio, with the launch of our advanced targeted integration system: LocIn. Pronounced "loch in" (reflecting our Scottish roots), the system efficiently generates genetically identical isogenic mammalian cell lines, providing?precision, speed, and control in every cell line integration.

Curious? Attend our upcoming webinar with Labroots to learn more about LocIn.
