One of the key announcements from last year was the introduction of Shopify's B2B platform optimizations.
Building on these developments, we created a white paper addressing solutions for complex B2B challenges. Looking ahead to 2025, we're highlighting standout features designed to support your business, followed by the release of Shopify Winter Editions:?
1. Tax exemptions for companies: apply a general tax exemption to all or specific company locations, ensuring no tax is collected for B2B orders. Setup in Shopify: you can specify tax preferences based on tax ID and applicable exemptions. Choose whether to collect tax, not collect tax, or apply tax exemptions to ensure compliance with business requirements.?
2. Automated B2B account setup: before it used to take days or weeks to provide access to new customers. Now you can place orders instantly by automating the assignment of catalogs, permissions, and sales staff to company locations with Shopify Flow. If you're looking for a more innovative approach, you could consider automating the delivery of electronic documents.
3. Better draft orders for B2B: allowing you to lock product prices, offer bundles, and collect deposits. If you're on Shopify Plus, you can also view and charge vaulted cards for quicker payment processing. Draft orders support personalized sales interactions through phone, in-person, and trade show orders. With custom pricing and seamless order management, merchants can boost sales, improve customer engagement, and create stable quotes for large orders.

Shopify has recently worked on its?POS system to create a more engaging and customer-friendly experience.?The updated interface includes brighter visuals, easier-to-navigate buttons, and flexible receipt options, allowing merchants to offer both paper and digital formats at checkout.

Klaviyo pricing update for 2025
Starting February 18, 2025, Klaviyo will enforce stricter plan compliance.?Plans will automatically adjust based on the number of active profiles in your account. While pricing plans aren’t increasing, adjustments are capped at 25% above your current plan, with an appreciation discount applied to eligible accounts?to keep costs manageable.

?? What changes should I expect? If your plan requires an adjustment,?Klaviyo will automatically right-size it. If that increase exceeds 25%, the appreciation discount will cap the spend increase.
