February at Datarobot
February has been an eventful month, here at Datarobot.
We began our new financial year at full velocity, on the back of a record-breaking FY'22. Last year we grew revenues in all regions and landed some significant enterprise wins across all vertical markets.
In the TA team, we celebrated the Chinese Year of the Tiger with Edna Yan our VP of Global Talent, and in San Francisco we opened our newest office location for 60 people.
Rounding off the month, our global sales teams spent a week in Las Vegas for SKO, where we celebrated the year’s global sales achievements alongside McLaren CEO Zak Brown.
For my EMEA colleagues and friends however, the Europe that they left to attend SKO is not the same as the one they flew back to, after the eruption of war in Ukraine.
I myself woke early on Thursday last week to an email from my team, to say they would be offline because of explosions in Kyiv, and they needed to go and find shelter. A short, sharp message that brought the onset of war right into my home office.
For our employees in Kiev we had contingency plans in place and the response has therefore been very swift. We have a global employee assistance plan in place and support is continuing to flood in from all sides. But we can always do more, because who knows how long this conflict could last?
In the meantime, we continue to keep our Ukrainian friends in our thoughts every day, and pray this madness will end soon.
