Aeromexico?filed IAH to Mexico City (NLU) in May and June. This is the first U.S. city they will serve to the new airport. They will still have flights from IAH to MEX during those months.

Air Canada?removed MKE to YYZ from all future schedules.

Alaska?announced?and filed new service from SAN to EUG, IAD and TPA. Service to EUG and IAD begins June 14 and service to TPA commences October 4.

American?loaded their summer and early fall schedule adjustments. September domestic capacity saw a 5% week over week reduction in seats. They cancelled FWA to PHL from June onwards. MIA to PWM and LAX to MZT were both cancelled June through August. ORD saw the biggest reduction in capacity of 13% week over week in the late summer/early fall.

Avelo?cancelled LEX to MCO from February 21 onward. They cancelled their DBQ flights for the rest of February and will continue to offer them via CID until the TSA issue is resolved.

Breeze?re-filed CAK to TPA from mid-August onward, which was removed last week from the schedule.

Delta?added new flts from DAL to LAX and LGA starting in June. They added special flights for the following events: DTW to AGS for the Masters in April; BOS to OMA for the annual Berkshire Hathaway meeting in May; LAX to SDF for the Kentucky Derby in May; and they removed the Super Bowl flights from last week's eliminated teams' markets.

JetBlue?reduced domestic capacity in May and June by 3% and 2% respectively, week over week.

Southwest?added Super Bowl flights in the PHL to PHX market.

Sunwing?cancelled MIA to YUL and YYZ from mid-March onward. The only market they will offer from Canada to the U.S. is YYZ to MCO.

United?increased domestic capacity week over week in June and July by 3% and 5% respectively. IAD, IAH and LAX saw the biggest capacity increases in those months. They added flights from EWR to OMA for the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting; LAX and SFO to SDF for the Kentucky Derby; and PHL and MCI to PHX for the Super Bowl. They also cancelled ORD to SJC in June and July.

TSA Update

January finished at 103.3% of 2019 levels and was the first month to finish above 2019 levels. The first five days of February are at 103.6% of 2019 levels.
