Always-on VPN Support for OpenVPN Connect for Android has Arrived
Whether it’s working at a cafe, airport, or co-working space, remote and hybrid personnel often rely on untrusted networks to access the public internet and their corporate network. Without proper security measures, they can be left exposed to malware-infected websites or hackers ready to intercept sensitive business data.
For businesses operating in the health or finance industry, it’s especially critical for IT teams to ensure secure access to all private data and resources to comply with regulations like HIPAA and GDPR.
Always-on VPN support for OpenVPN Connect allows you to easily facilitate secure remote access for your users as they work offsite by automatically connecting their Android devices to your VPN via the OpenVPN Connect app. This keeps your business's sensitive data secure, reducing the risks posed by hackers and malware and making it easier to comply with industry data regulations.
With Android’s Block connections without VPN feature also enabled, you can force all internet traffic through your VPN, ensuring that private data stays encrypted.
