2025 marks a new year of advancements in AI. In our recent webinar, the latest AI developments from Microsoft, including Copilot, were explored. The webinar delved into new approaches for the use of AI, including automating processes with Copilot and Agents, and demonstrated how organisations can create these tools themselves.?

Key takeaways from the webinar include:

  • Success for projects is now defined by the value delivered rather than just meeting time, budget, and scope. Project managers need to focus on delivering value and acting as change agents rather than just administrators. ?

  • AI is expected to significantly enhance project management by automating tasks and improving efficiency.?
  • AI is expected to handle grunt work, allowing project managers to focus on higher-value tasks. Generative AI is being applied to business processes, with 35% of organisations reporting measurable improvements.?

  • Proper governance is crucial to ensure AI agents use trustworthy data and make reliable decisions. Organisations should start small with AI projects and prioritise based on impact.?
