What does HPC have to do with wine production?

Our latest Case Study showcases how atNorth’s Gompute HPC platform played a crucial role into research for the construction of a new wine cellar in the viticultural region of La Rioja.

By running complex CFD simulations and utilizing OpenFOAM, the platform helped optimize conditions inside the cellar to reduce evaporation, minimize waste, and improve sustainability.

“With full access to the Gompute platform, its team, and resources, we could efficiently continue our research into wine production loss in a reasonable timeframe.” – Prof. Elena Martín Ortega, Universidade de Vigo
