We held our international kick-off event in Bonn, Germany, on February 1st and 2nd. Over 600 colleagues from around the globe attended the event, which new CEO Dr. Ferri Abolhassan opened. Ferri shared his vision for the company, highlighting the importance of building on past successes and focusing on customer satisfaction while working together to achieve our goals.
We are committed to staying ahead of technological innovation and market demands by introducing new leadership roles and concentrating on key technological areas such as AI, Data Spaces, Sovereign Cloud & Digital Identities, Omniverse, and Cyber Security.
During the event, several discussions centred around the theme of "ONE team - WE inspire" and the concept of "Werkstolz," which is a German term that means pride in one's work. These discussions aimed to inspire our employees to take ownership and pride in their contributions to the company's success. The discussions focused on cultivating a work environment that fosters a sense of pride in our work and creating a teamwork culture that inspires us all to work together towards a common goal.
Furthermore, various teams presented their use cases and highlighted the significant impacts they have already made. Among the notable examples was the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem, which has brought about substantial advancements in earth observation data and services. On the other hand, the 49-euro ticket project in Germany has made it possible for more people to travel by train at an affordable price. Another remarkable project showcased was the Industrial Metaverse collaboration with Nvidia, which has revolutionised how industries approach virtual environments. In addition, the teams also shared their advancements in digital identities. Altogether, these examples demonstrate the tangible outcomes of our work and how T-Systems has positively impacted both customers and society.
Overall, the event not only introduced T-Systems' new leadership and strategic direction but also served as a rallying call for our employees to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the coming year. With a clear focus on teamwork, transparency, customer satisfaction, and technological excellence, T-Systems is well-placed to strengthen our position in the market and deliver on our promises to customers, partners, and employees.

The world's most valuable telecoms brand
Brand Finance ranked Deutsche Telekom as the 9th most valuable brand in their 2024 "The World's 25 Most Valuable Brands" report. With this ranking, the telecommunication giant claimed the title of the world's most valuable telecoms brand, surpassing Verizon. In addition, the company also counts as the most valuable German brand of all time and the most valuable European brand.
T-Systems is a premium supplier for RISE with SAP?
T-Systems is now a premium supplier of RISE with SAP. This announcement makes T-Systems the first SAP partner in Germany to offer infrastructure, technical managed services, business transformation and application management services in connection with RISE with SAP. This designation will make it easier for customers to move their mission-critical workloads into the cloud. T-Systems’ services include consulting, migration, implementation and operation of RISE with SAP and support for RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud?, private edition. In addition to supporting customers using RISE with SAP on select hyperscalers, T-Systems will offer RISE with SAP on their private cloud Future Cloud Infrastructure (FCI). This will enable customers to meet all German and European data protection requirements.
