1?? What's your role at Readpeak and how long have you been with us?
Ah, I've been part of the Readpeak family since November 2023, so it's been a whirlwind of almost four months now. Although I'm not the newest addition anymore, it's always exciting to see fresh faces joining us every month. In my role, I proudly serve as the Country Lead for Finland, where I foster meaningful connections with our customers: agencies, advertisers, and publishers. Additionally, I lend a hand in marketing initiatives and contribute to our business development endeavours.
2?? What's your favourite part about working at Readpeak?
Hands down, it's the incredible company culture and the wonderful people I get to collaborate with every single day. The Finnish market is bursting with talented, creative, and passionate marketers, and being surrounded by such energy is truly inspiring.
3?? What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Well, balancing life with an almost five-year-old keeps me on my toes, but it also ensures I maintain a healthy work-life balance. Beyond family time, you can catch me on the football field. Our Ladies Team is not just a team; they're like a third family to me!
4?? What's one interesting fact about you that most people don't know?
Here's a little nugget that's not in my CV: back in 2009, I spent a season working in Cyprus. My task? Distributing flyers and drink coupons to tourists. It was a far cry from anything else I've ever done, but what an epic experience!
5?? If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?
Now, that's a tough question! While history boasts countless remarkable women who shaped the world, often in the shadows, figures like Marie Curie or émilie du Chatelet captivate me with their stories of resilience and intellect in a time when women's contributions weren't always recognized. However, if I had to pick one, I'd opt for the classic allure of Cleopatra, the Egyptian queen. I'm curious to see the woman behind the myths and legends, to understand her thoughts and motivations amidst a backdrop of assumption and fiction.
6?? What's one piece of advice you would give to someone just starting in your field?
In our field, there's no textbook that can fully prepare you. Stay endlessly curious, keep that hunger for knowledge alive, and never settle for mediocrity. And remember, authenticity is your greatest asset—stay true to yourself, always.
