Palm Beach State College

On Friday, January 26, Palm Beach State College (PBSC) celebrated 115 faculty members who completed the Effective Online Teaching Practices course to become certified in ACUE’s Effective Teaching Practice Framework. This milestone puts them one step closer to their goal of having 600 faculty members certified by 2026.

In an article on the PBSC website, Dr. Roger Yohe, Ph.D. , vice president of Academic Innovation and Strategy, said,

"After two years, more than 220 faculty across our five campuses became Certified in ACUE’s Effective Teaching Practice Framework. What's been so impressive is faculty members' willingness to be vulnerable and be comfortable enough to listen, push and grow. I have had professors who have been teaching for 20 years say, 'It reinvigorated my teaching. I found this passion for it again that I hadn't felt in a while.'"?
