February 2023 updates from The Assembly

Welcome back to our monthly updates.

This February, we have three workshops lined up – one for the geeks and two for entrepreneurs that I think they would love. Here is a list of the workshops we have lined up this January along with the registration links in the titles:

• Building Custom USB Hotkeys using Microcontroller; 4 February 2023, 11 am – 1pm, In5 Tech: In this workshop, Judhi Prasetyo, Senior Lecturer, Head & Founder of the Rob TechX Lab at Middlesex University Dubai, will show you how to create a Bluetooth macro key based on the ESP32 microcontroller.
• Funding Your Business - There’s more than one way to skin a cat, 18 February, 11am – 1pm, @In5 Tech: Marie-Christine Luijckx, Founder of Fruitful Day, tells the story of her business Fruitful Day and how they have taken multiple approaches to raising funds and the lessons they’ve learned along the way. During the workshop, she explores multiple options, there will always be a tradeoff between the funds you take and the commitments you make.
• Active Listening Skills for entrepreneurs; 25 February 2023 - 11AM - 1PM @ in5 Tech: Join our exclusive 2-hour talk on Active Listening Skills, where you'll learn from Youssry Essmatt, Founder & CEO of The Business Clinic Middle East and 6Bees, tips and tricks to becoming a more effective listener and connect with others on a deeper level. Test yourself through interactive exercises and real-life scenarios, providing you with the tools you need to take your listening skills to the next level.
