February 2020 Issue of RV News

Hello LinkedIn friends and RV Family,

While many of you know that I don't often post access on LinkedIn to the online issue of our monthly magazine, I thought this issue would be of special interest to all of you. Why, you may ask, is not every online magazine placed here? We really want everyone who is truly a decision maker in the RV industry to subscribe to the publication. That can be done on our website at https://www.rvnews.com/ and its free to RV industry pros and RV business leaders.

While the magazine is truly the heart and soul of my company, DRN Media, subscribing gives you access to something that a huge number of RV business professionals find valuable, our daily email message with national RV industry business headlines. Headlines link to news stories.

The enewsletter is designed so anyone can access the most important developments in the RV industry in 10 seconds or less. You can read the headlines each day and then move on to other important things in less than a minute. If a headline interests you, click on it and read the entire story.

Now on to the issue. February has stories on 10 of the greatest men and women in the history of the RV industry, as identified by the RV/MH Hall of Fame. Each of these people are being inducted into the Hall of Fame in just a few short months. The Hall of Fame is having a big party and dinner just to celebrate them on August 3rd. One of the people I respect most in my now 18-year-career is being inducted- Mr. Dave Schultz from Dometic.

Other stories in this issue include a feature on one of the absolute best dealerships in the United States, plus just a few things it does that make it the envy of other dealerships. I'll keep who that is as a surprise to entice you to read the magazine.

While there are a number of other really important stories in the February issue, I will point out two others: We have a story on Genesis Products in this issue.

Look in nearly any RV manufactured in the last 10 years and your likely to see the handiwork of this OE supplier. To say they influence and shape the interior look of many, if not most, of the RVs being built today in some manner is an understatement. Another key story in this issue is on NTP-Stag's aftermarket show that took place in January. The distributor's event is the largest industry event we have outside of Elkhart Extravaganza. I suspect the distributor is changing the industry with its efforts to address Repair Event Cycle Times.

That's it for now my friends. Please go to the website and sign up for the newsletter if you haven't. I can't send business info via email to you, even if I know your email address, unless you give me permission by subscribing. To do so would violate the Anti Can Spam Act, and the fines for violating the act are steep.

I hope you are having a healthy, successful and profitable Q1,

Dana Nelsen
