1.The European Parliament passed a bill to stop selling fuel-engined vehicles in Europe by 2035 in Strasbourg with 340 votes in favour,279 votes against and 21 abstentions.

2.Global silicon wafer shipments grow 3.9%year-on-year to 14.713 billion square inches (MSI) in 2022, with wafer revenue up 9.5% year-on-year to US$13.8 billion.

3.China's charging infrastructure reaches 5.2 million units in 2022, up nearly 100%year-on-year.

4.The agreement between SK On, Ford Motor and Turkish company Koc Holding AS to jointly establish a battery joint venture in Turkey has been terminated.

5.Meta will collaborate with SK Hynix and panel maker LG Display to develop MicrooLEDpanelsforMetaXRdevices, which is at the signing stage.
