The Bruntwood SciTech Female Founders Incubator
Bruntwood has recently designed a Female Founder Incubator, launching during Leeds Digital Festival in September.
Female-led start-ups are in short supply despite research conducted by MIT indicating companies founded or co-founded by women generate higher revenues than men, and have significantly lower failure rates.?
The new programme, backed by successful founders and CEOs, will nurture and support female founders, as well as improve their access to funding.

Apply for the £10,000 Women in Engineering Grant 2022
More funding opportunities for female founders. If you’re the female leader of an enterprise within UK engineering, Get It Made has announced a new grant, which aims to support female-led engineering enterprises and help encourage the next generation of women in UK engineering.
The recipient of this grant will receive £10,000 to scale up production and move their business forward. [Read More]

Attentive, a text message marketing company, has launched a text-to-buy solution built with Shopify’s Shop Pay accelerated checkout technology.?
The feature allows customers to purchase directly by responding to a promotional message without having to go to a website, load up their shopping carts and check out.
