I often travel to my past; Known streets all.. I need some courage for my own inward journey; hangs high on a tree..
Sour grapes? And I will have to pluck the 'grapes' i.e. 'courage' from out there to handle my fears before I undertake such a journey. Unknown territory could be scary…Yet I know one thing.. To go to my own lowest points filled with darkness, I shall have to make the ‘highest’ in me for accompanying me as the light available with the ‘highest’ will be able to dilute the darkness for better clarity. Each one of us has that ‘highest’ manifestation of ourselves inside. One just has to invoke its presence.
None can do it for me. I have to do it..because it is about my fears and my own awareness. To know from others would be others-awareness about me..That may not really help much as a first step.
Yes, someone can always challenge that many of our ‘dark’ spots are not visible to us. Yet, I only know one thing that we can always check our feelings and emotions by checking our physical state..If it is bad it only means that whatever has triggered that state stemmed from some dark corner. I am not saying feedback from others is not essential.. I am only saying that let me take that first step of taking a plunge inside before I go the other person. Difficult? Fearful? Yes, and that is why you need the courage...
That is why I wrote this verse:
To visit the dark corners
Inside me , I’ll have to dare;
Only my fearlessness to do so
Will make me self-aware.. ( RS: 2012)
In this context, I am sure that you have understood that I am YOU and We and Us.. Not ‘them’ for the moment..

8 年Fear & Self-Awareness is Universal Language that cuts deeper than swords and sometimes it opens you up instead of shutting down when one shows the stubbornness enough to let their courage rise at every attempt of the fear that tries to intimidate us. You have to Understand, Accept & face your fears. Calibrate them wisely, especially the fear of "Change" and plunge ahead despite the pounding in your heart yells vehemently "For God's Sake, Turn Back". I did read somewhere that - "Fear is a Dark-room where Negatives Develop" & "You Just can't get away from yourself by moving from one place to another." We are not what we expose..............But what we Hide !! Let's rise and shine to travel a great deal to achieve what we desire rather what we fear!!
