All negative emotions e.g. Anger, Jealousy, Fear, Loneliness Guilt, Helplessness, Frustration, Emptiness Insecurities, Lack & Greed etc. come naturally in mind but we don’t really enjoy it long because it’s eventually exhausting. On the other hand all positive emotions e.g. Joy, Gratitude, Serenity, Interest, Hope, Pride, Amusement, Inspiration, Awe, Love etc. we are in constant pursuit of it as they don’t really come naturally in mind.
But in first place, why negative emotion is natural & positive requires constant pursuit. e.g. Fear, doubt or worries come naturally but Love, Joy, Faith are conditional? Reason, we are always guided by our life experiences in the past. If, majority of our experiences in the past are negative, mind arises with negative thoughts naturally. On the contrary, if the majority of life experiences in past have been positive, minds always attracts positive thoughts in the present or future.

Hence we need to understand, if we are in constant fear, worries and doubt or Joy, happiness and faith; both emotions are the results of our life experiences in the past. Therefore putting labels e.g. Stress and Fear are natural and we don’t have controls on it. ?Happiness is rarest to find or life is not easy, it’s very difficult to lead these days, these are our negative or positive life experiences of past which impacts the present and the future, both.
But the fundamental problem is, we don’t look into it minutely and take our actions instantly based on our current thoughts and feelings. If failed, we blame others. If otherwise, we attribute it to self. But your success or failure is an outcome of sum total of your life experiences. Therefore, the ratio of success & failure equals the ratio of positive and negative experiences of life. When we attribute success or failure to external factors e.g. people, events or circumstances, is it a right analogy or we are still sleeping with open eyes? ?
