Fear

Fear is one of the most basic human emotions. It prompts our survival instinct since young. It is an intense feeling in response to perceiving or recognising a danger, threat, a plausible pain or feel unsafe.

Fear is real & it's one of the ugliest human emotions. But extreme fear in adults may influence the behaviour and conduct in ways that calls for more attention.

For a start, we are not built the same way. But we do experience fears at some point in our lives. There are various reasons (phywhy a person feels fear

For some, maybe it's easy to tease & laugh at other's misaligned life, the same people we laugh at could be contemplating ending their life due to fear. Perhaps due to fear of failure in life.

Psychological fears such as loss of purpose, loss of identity

The unknown/The future

Threat or danger from environment

Events which we imagined in our heads but not happened, yet

Death/Darkness/Insects

?????? ???????????? ...

Fear is always the holding back from what we want to attempt.

Fear is not cool.

Fear is shameful.

Fear is embarrassing.

Fear increases our self-doubt, diminishes our self-confidence.

Fear opens up hollows for others to judge and label us whatever they may think fit.

Fear gets people laughing at us just cos they could and we can't. While we may say, "We don't care what others say of us, I'll just do mine." - for some, the words and the sinister laughter can just eat into them causing them to snap.

If we think fear is simply getting over with it by just thinking positive, it may not be for some.

It's not about who is tougher or having the willpower, some words cuts and some laughter is not for a tickle.

It is also not just having the words "I am F E A R L E S S " on your T-shirt.

Faith and courage are the answers but they do not appear out of nowhere.

Try this for ????????,

Faith is approaching teachings that helps get our feet back on track with hope and optimism.

Trust in the Now, we can only do something now.

Read books that calms the soul. There many good books out there.

Play a sport or take a stroll in the nature. Ease the mind with non judgement thinking.

Keep the focus back on our strengths and ability.

Initiate the first step with a baby step.

?????????? ???? ??????????????????, ???????????????????? ?????? ???? ??????????????????????????. Compassion is probably the answer towards many out there who appear to be hustling but behind closed door, still doubting themselves for various reasons. Understand that somethings are not that easily articulated.

???????????????? ??????????????????. Refrain from not commenting or give unsolicited advice freely on everything people do when we don't know the whole story. It's about them, less about what you think unless they ask.

???????? ???????? ?????? ?????????????????? ???? ??????????????????. Depending on which angle we are looking at of the similar situation, the other side of thing always show us a different picture. No matter what the background, where people hail from, who their parents are, what their achievements or struggles are, everyone has their stories.

?????????? ???? ?????????????????? ?????? ?????????????? people in their endeavours. Practise tactful messages.

You see, ???????? ?????? ???? ???????????????? ?????? ??????????????????. In fact, we are here to write our own handbook through all the raindrops - waves - storms - rainbows we encounter. While we lean in to the objective side of things, we cannot escape from the emotional aspects of it. They say, that's the uniqueness of our human species.

We may not be able to spot a fearful soul (easily) because the world has too many distractions. Everyone's probably busy with their own life. And in today's tech world when many written messages and interactions can be scripted, we may missed out many cues calling for help; or it is easy for us to camouflage ourselves so we appear ok when we are ?????? ok. We don't have to be the same with others all the time.

While change is constant & the unknown will always present, we can choose the dynamics within it. After all, fear is one of the many emotions we have and cannot escape from, so why don't we conquer by acknowledging it and nip it from wherever it is.

Writing this piece is to recognise Fear as one of the common emotions we experience but seen negatively; hence spoken about shyly. For us to better value the upside of life, we must face the downside of it, just like being on a seesaw.

Interesting take on fear. We might not enjoy the sensation but we need it to fight another day. However, becoming stuck with the 'fear' button on... needs to be monitored. Because the stuck state creates a constant anxious state... which floods the body with adrenalin and cortisol which longer term damage our cells. And I agree, thinking fear is simply something we can get over by just thinking positively may be possible for some people , but it's not for the majority. thank Sharon Chow.

Absolutely love this ???????? awareness is key, fear tends to show up so differently for each of us but if we tune in we can definitely pick up on some common tell tell signs
