FEAR?

FEAR?

We have many many fears.

Fear of dogs chasing us.

Fear of breaking up.

Fear of not getting that our mind desired.

Fear of not being able to catch a brilliant sunrise.

Fear of your parents knowing you through your habits.

Fear of speaking up.

Fear of speaking the truth.

Fear of speaking the truth to ourselves.

Fear of revealing a secret.

Fear of failing.

Fear of not knowing what to do?

Fear of landslides.

Fear of your flight crashing.

Fear of not getting enough sleep.

Fear of how we express.

Fear of your children not living up to your wants.

Fear of your corporate year end ratings.

Fear of jealousy.

Fear of change.

Fear of detachment.

Fear of attachment.

Fear of being a part of protest.

Fear of the governments.

Fear of being exposed.

Fear of getting married.

Fear of imposed responsibilities.

Fear of losing your security.

Fear of what 4 other people will say.

Fear of insecurity.

Fear of getting humiliated.

Fear of your wife.

Fear of losing loved ones.

Fear of untimely demise.

Fear of missing out.

Fear of death.

We have so many fears?

And as a designer, I was taught to see a problem, address it and work towards finding a solution. There are so many designers around the world who have been giving amazing solutions like the ubers and apples and oppenheimers of the world. But, why have we not found solution to this? Why haven't we solved these fears? Why? Why have not we questioned this fear?

Why hasn't the same brain been applied to solve these problems which created a product that which devastated Hiroshima and Nagasaki. And we are peculiarly fed this through text books which is so idiotic and plays a major role in imbibing fear in us since birth.

So, is it abnormal to question fear?

Go read my article on: How School & college education kills self-confidence in kids? to understand deeper into the concept of fear and the role of education is shaping us and society.
