One of the main component of successful DevSecOps teams is testing.

Today, we will have a look at TDD: Test Driven Development. TDD is the discipline of writing automated tests before writing any code.

That starts with pretty basic testing and increase in maturity over time.

TDD is divided in a series of steps. First, the team decides to create a new feature or augment the current capabilities. The team begins by writing a test that passes if the feature's specifications are met. This is done in partnership with the product owner to understand the use case and implementation of the user stories.

A key benefit of test-driven development is that it makes the developer focus on requirements before starting to write any code.

It’s foolish to claim otherwise. Data demonstrate that social media sites can impact election outcomes, so clearly, it is an essential part of democracy.

7. DISA wasting more taxpayer money!

There you have it folks, 4 years too late, after my continuous begging to DISA to wake up and embrace Agile and DevSecOps, DISA finally decides to go ahead and create a DevSecOps platform.

Of course, I had proposed to partner with?DoD Platform One?but no, incompetence, egos and silos is very much alive and well at DISA (just like their Cloud and Zero Trust effort we have yet to meet in production), and they decide to create one from scratch, a total waste of limited talent and taxpayer money.

I had even proposed to use P1 for FREE at the time for some of their key programs that the Air Force would have drastically benefited from and saved money by embracing?#DevSecOps.

Another sad day today.

P.S: you may think "that's good though they're finally using common sense and move to DevSecOps" but only OUTCOMES matter and they can't get anything done, years to get to a cloud contract... what's the likelihood of doing DevSecOps right? None. They will pick a large prime and get locked-in to one cloud provider and will bring NEGATIVE value and ROI.
