The VIX? - an Index of Volatility, OR, - Complacency
The VIX dropped as Trump was being declared the WINNER –
i.e. everyone can breathe easy (‘cept of course those that don’t want anything to do w/ him)
i.e. a whole lot less uncertainty, LESS Volatility.
And, as everyone knows, less volatility generally accompanies less FEAR, AND more risk-taking.
i.e. a bull run, maybe.
HOWEVER, extremes can lead to direction changes – to “EVEN things out”
Are we at this point?

My Elliott Wave count was okay before the election; then it got muddled up because of the election, and the VIX.
But, I think I’ve found a count that accommodates those events – w/o radically changing my earlier analysis. SEE CHARTS BELOW.
