The Monegasque wins his teams home race but not without controversy. The issue, Leclerc didn't give Hamilton a full cars width going into La Grande forcing the Merc #44 off the track.
This move was aggressive and sheer joy to watch. Closing the door on a competitor in complete confidence takes bollocks. However, not all saw this stroke of racing genius as a positive reflection of the sport. The stewards didn't either. Black and White flag came out waving for the Scarlet #16.
So the Sophomore F1 driver received the proverbial "yellow card" or "Don't do that again" as your mother would say as she wags her finger at you.
What do we as fans and as service folk take away from this? The answer is quite simple. Push your internal and external limits. To be successful in any business venture we must push.
Sometimes in order to level up we must sacrifice something, gain a penalty or even stand fast in our beliefs. In service that means giving something for free, getting a bad review or even losing a client. We cannot be afraid of these things. As players in our respective service industries, being afraid to push will expedite our losses.
"Everything you want is on the other side of fear." - Jack Canfield
What are you going to do today?
I suggest you #justworkhard and #push
