Fear of failure is (in my opinion) insane

Here's why:
Step back from that statement for one second.
So you're fearful of not getting an end result?
Which is holding you back from actually jumping into the necessary journey in order to create said result.
I understand this, but I disagree with it wholeheartedly.
You may have failed in the past, you're exhausted from "starting again", maybe you don't want to be dealt another blow of disappointment or it may even come down to pride.
The way I see it is that you have two files sat on your desk.
File one contains a plan to get cracking, without a guarantee of reaching your desired result.
File two contains a plan to do nothing...
With a 100% guarantee of not reaching your desired result.
So...
The very fear of failure is causing you to choose the only option on the table that GUARANTEES failure.
Can you see now why I think this is insane?
It makes zero sense, zero.
I hope that your eyes are currently a little wider to this belief that may have been holding you back for quite some time.
It has held many back in the past and it will continue to do so, but I hope that you are one of todays lucky ones who have had a realisation.
Inaction is the death of your dreams, goals and aspirations.
You wouldn't accept inaction from an employee/team member of yours would you?
Don't accept it for yourself either.
You're better than that.

As far as "what's next?" I would advise the following.
Look around for a coach that you like the look of, someone who seems to deliver the right messaging.
I would personally stay well clear of anyone who specialises in quick turn arounds as they will likely become another fleeting moment in your life.
Instead of being day one for you laying lasting foundations.
The key with someone like yourself is having a bespoke method to utilise.
You have specific hurdles and testing moments that your neighbour, brother or friend may not encounter.
A generalised approach simply won't work effectively.
You'll also need support to help in moments of stress/pressure as well as having someone holding you accountable.
Here's two figures to leave you with:
Studies have shown that having an accountability coach/partner can increases your chances of success by up to 65%.
Adding regular meetings into that equations lifts that percentage to 95%.
It all begins with finding the right fit.
I'd be happy to explore this with you (if you're serious).
We can catch up and find you the best plan of attack.
Full disclosure - that might not be with me.
Or it might.
Either way you'll gain clarity of what you need and the next steps to follow from there.
