The Fear Of Exams And How Two Certifications Changed My Whole World To Approaching What Academia Was Teaching About Growing Through Learning!

Hello everybody,?

Who knew that this would end up becoming the week for me where transformational change really came hard but in a good way overall. That also with delivering three articles back to back in the same week itself, based on all the levels of accomplishment that I have achieved at Accenture and outside of that by growing my intelligence quotient in the world of Scrum; through the help of two certifications.

But without getting distracted on today's theme, I am going take a deep dive into how these two Scrum certs really helped destroy that approach of not doing well when it came down to performing on exams; during the academic life.

I remember any time I would have to prepare for an exam, whether it would be on a subject like math or science; during school years ranging anywhere from elementary to high, there was a certain timeline I would operate on for thinking 4 weeks in advance to start preparing on understanding the material, chapters, keywords to remember during exam time that was coming up soon.

While breaking the hours down into smaller increments of 3 hours each day to complete one chapter each day; it would have me revise each one of them at least five-time, which to me felt outstanding because that gave me a notion towards believing these concepts would stick like gum in the brain that not even memory would have a problem going through its formulas, problems, facts, statements, and a lot's more to comprehend the material at hand.

But no matter how hard I would try the complete opposite would end up happening every single time, varying from class to class and questions for answering on each test every grade ahead!

Even during the high school days, it was a bit of a losing battle during the 1st year, and only way which gave me the confidence to keep going on a hill full of shattered glass in my foot was the hope that daily practice would turn into unexpected opportunities to grow in those subject of areas, even though it didn't end up terribly with successes from Monroe Technology Center and fitness saving the day with routinely performed exercises both physically and mentally; which somewhere down the lane might have helped guide me to grow through an evolution phase without even knowing about it at first hand. Because these things usually tend to be in the hands of a universe, and right timing being at your side.

Soon enough, college days came approaching like an entry and exit door; within those three years being spent both in-person & online combined, I still remember my first class of the first semester at VCU, where my focused inquiry teacher telling the class that:

This is the golden moment you had all been waiting for, college applications going through while soon after receiving that acceptance letter in your hands to universities you had only dreamed about going to attend, and finally saying your goodbyes to long time friends that you have known since school days with both of you going separate directions. With fear on the first day of classes kicking in that helped you come prepared to class with reading materials and notebooks. In this moment right now, you all are waiting to pass the classes, get your degree in hand, and go work as the upcoming visionaries in the industry. But hold on right there, you all are undoubtedly smarter and more knowledgeable than me to what you might know about today's generation. But the real question is can you let time take you over or heal yourself when the actions are required. Because as you get old, sacrifices are something that's a given which you have to end up taking by hand to eventually decide what path you end up wanting to go towards. So I ask you, what do you want to be when someone approaches to right your autobiography the hare who only sells a few or even a half million books in-store or a turtle that's the biggest selling international book worldwide which is relatable for every generation to connect with its broad story that's getting presented to them for learning about lessons that they wouldn't have ever thought out about in their wildest dreams

From that point on, the battle was a struggling fight. But it didn't matter because I ended up growing a lot from ground zero to valuing the word research on how it can help you find answers to problems and future solutions that you might have never thought about initially. It's funny seeing how adaptation with time can definitely make you a better person overall, especially when research at one point of time was scary enough to me that talking about it would just end up resulting in a chain of event that would result as a goosebumps type of reactions as it's the very first cause of effects.

After graduating from four books being a part of my life series, covering all the times in my academic years and internship experiences as well. The new fifth book was to be a landmark full of stories that would be based on my years as a professional working from project to business scopes and getting to understand what the word experience really means; whether it's hands-on or not but is helping you gain skillsets as any other human would in prehistoric era except it would come from signs of curiosity to ask questions about what can we do with this natural life of existence whether that be plants, coals, conducting electricity, producing color to paint, or the millions amount of items we as humans produced for the greater good of exploring life to create something we see is doable from experience and to start working on it after a countless number of drafts getting approached for reaching that final piece we had envisioned from the very start of beginning steps.

I think during the end of April and a bit of the beginning during May this year kind of hit me with realization; in the sense of feeling where was the growth and learning happening after new hire orientation had finished since last year. From that wake-up call, it started making me come up and go searching for game plans of tasks that I was really looking forward to accomplishing during my university years but didn't find the chance to actually doing them.

That's when I decided to find a way to get it done through trials of research on finding the best place to start with certifications and get going with understanding its materials from first-hand videos and documents to taking their exams through the Scrum Alliance providers. Still remembering the moments when taking these tests that will I pass or not, but looking at it as a knowledge check for myself to see what topics really stuck with me and how much material did I end up retaining about it's field of subjects & themes that were being presented to me. This would show me that the amount of time I spent comprehending and reading through the three critical phases of preparation, studying its content, & reviewing the material in summary points were accurate enough to help me absorb its material to deliver on exam day. All of this happens by simply breaking it down into increments of an hour and a half; from the help of Scrum itself, teaching how to better manage your work and estimated deadlines to meet risk estimation. So your product backlog doesn't seem overcrowded all the time but solves the main problems at hand by breaking them down into smaller chunks. So they are easier in managing to complete as a sense of achievement to having done something in the week, with positive thoughts spreading throughout the team all and about everywhere, leading towards continuous growth of progression. From these changes of scene, the hope is that one day it will eventually transition into teams becoming self-independent where they can manage all the assignments by themselves with the help of sweet Kanban. Because of this determination and forcing myself to push further on breaking the previous hang-ups of perceptions that I ended up developing during my academic times. I decided to look forward on seeing a new me in the present with my mindset, breathing, and bank of knowledge; I was able to pass both of there exams with flying colors all around, by getting them done both CSM and CSPO for eventually becoming an officially certified Scrum Master on the past Sunday (05/22/22) and recently certified Product Owner just yesterday on Thursday (05/26/22) from the help of ScrumAlliance who I can't thank enough for not just developing my confidence but the spirit to understanding where certification, experience, knowledge, and SME's all stand in there place of existence in today's professional evolving industry with the work being categorized from quality to quantity on who get's what from the pile by spending adequate time learning from there mistakes through growing their own niche of skillsets for becoming an expert that ends up making a wide array of connections and relationships at hand with his hard work and discipline from following the five basics that make humans be able to play at the top of their league!

So it goes to say that every journey somehow or the other loops around each other for eventually reaching the same path of learning, researching, experience, generating your own content, and most importantly, relationships all being the major contributors that have their up's & down's as to some taking more of a priority than others while some areas never get approached because of us thinking the impossible never happening unless we don't try to see it's going to require getting up both standing up and sitting down. Most of the time our end gets its best of us, from not seeing a purpose of what's there to explore in a world that can seem narrow but is limitless if you know what breathing can do for you. Everyone somewhere down the land comes to terms with reaching a balanced seesaw by balancing all five of the fundamentals that help us in expressing ourselves, identifying our interests, and most importantly, reflecting on times of generational changes happening all around us! I tend to refer to this concept from time to time because it's something that's relatable in terms of interpreting a visual for yourself to see what message the author is trying to depict towards his audience members.

Until next time, keep finding ways to challenge past events in the present timeline so that it doesn't only make you feel accomplished but also makes you feel that nothing is impossible at any point of time. Whether you are old or young, it doesn't really matter. Because anything that doesn't feel like it's coming to you by second nature will sooner than later be your victory of success down the road, which doesn't seem viable or feasible to say at this point of time, but everything that you're experiencing right now is being recording in the mind as they are actively listening, absorbing, and comprehending topics that are clear and blurred to you; for helping develop the curiosity over time to a point where you will be able to map out the puzzle for yourself to figure out where to go next from all the clues it has provided you with to become successful in your two-person life of identifying what a career means to you both on a personal level and professional note?

In terms of the next steps for myself or any other goals, I look forward to accomplishing for the remainder of this year? You will just have to wait to find out what other incredible things I end up doing that are both expected and unexpected; the exact same way my content ends up getting published to all my wonderful followers and connections that inspire me each day to become a more marvelous of a person at every single minute of the clock going by every 365 days.

Because always remember your personal life reflections turn into the career goals of what you look forward to accomplishing further in the journey of experience!?
