Data from fDi Markets shows more than 88% of outbound US investment in vaccines since 2016 has been recorded from January 2020 to June 2022.
So far this year, US-based Moderna, a biotechnology company pioneering mRNA therapeutics and vaccines, has announced 12 FDI projects, including €500m ($514.5m) to open a new mRNA vaccine testing lab in Madrid, Spain and $500m to establish a new mRNA facility in Kenya.?
