Most Career Professional on a Job Search or Career transition say the JOB MARKET is bad, employers are not paying like before. They tell me recruiters & hiring managers don't have the etiquette to respond to the emails and the business is not as good as before.

Well, it's a competitive world for sure but it also depends on where you are applying to!

But that's not the discussion for today! The discussion is about people being paid low, citing the excuse of a bad job market or a post pandemic doom looming over them.

If you as an Employer or HR under pay a new employee just because the word of mouth in the market says so - then shame on you!

If an HR or Recruiter tries to save revenue by cutting people stomach and underpaying new recruits then shame on you!
