Daddy and Me by Tim Burke

How often is it that we take the time to stop and listen to what our children have to say or are trying to tell us in their actions and behaviour?

These poems came about as result of time I spent with my son, playing with him, imagining with him, talking to him, and listening to him.

I hope that they also touch the hearts of all parents and children who can recognise a little bit of themselves in the narration.

Lola and Beau the lost Frisbee by Paul Rankine

Flying saucers, colourful planets, shining stars and erm... a playful game of hide and seek with aliens? Not your usual day at the park! But one that Lola and her trusty pooch Beau won’t forget in a hurry!

An intergalactic adventure for all to enjoy.

My Bubble My Space by Nathan Winstanley

Personal space is a very important social skill for children to learn. This book aims to help children to better understand the idea and importance of space, and to give parents/caregivers, teachers and therapists a way of defining those space boundaries.

Through stories like My Bubble My Space, children will learn body and spatial awareness and begin to understand and respect the needs and rights of others.

This book was designed to help children develop stronger social and emotional connections building positive, trusting friendships feeling safe within their environment.

Peter the Penguin who wanted to Fly by John Headley

On a sun-soaked day at the seaside, families sprawled across the sands, children’s laughter filling the air. But amidst the typical beach scenes, an unexpected visitor emerged: a penguin! Darting between sunbathers, flapping its wings, and leaping high into the air, this out-of-place creature created quite a spectacle. Then, with a sudden thud in the sand, the beachgoers were left in suspense. What was this penguin’s mission? The mystery was too intriguing to ignore, and the quest to uncover the truth began.
