The Fatherhood Gap

So, it's Father's Day this weekend.

I always used to struggle with father's day gifts - they always used to be the same old things...socks, alcohol, maybe some chocolate.? Men can be so hard to buy for can't they? (and if there are any men/dads reading, we'd love to hear any innovative gifts that you've received? - whether?you loved them or not!)

But we've been working on something that we hope will be a gift to all dads.??

All parents in fact.

?

When we started the &Beyond business we were primarily focussed on supporting working mothers, but we very quickly realised that without making changes to the experience that working dads have - then nothing is going to change.

We can only rise together, when we work to address the challenges of ALL parents.

So we’ve been talking about supporting working parents as a whole for a while now, but we also wanted to put together something specifically to tackle issues that working dads face. There’s not much around to support working dads and so we wanted to at least make a start on changing that.?

It's called The Fatherhood Gap! We hope that it's insightful for everyone and that it gives you some starters for 10 in terms of what changes you might be able to instigate at work.
