Fatal Crash of Two Indonesian Air Force Super Tucanos

On November 16, 2023, two Indonesian Air Force Embraer EMB-314E Super Tucano aircraft, with registrations TT-3103 and TT-3111, crashed on Mount Bromo's slopes near Keduwung Village, Puspo District, Indonesia, during a military exercise. Both planes, operated by Skadron Udara 21, were flying in a box formation as part of a four-aircraft squadron from Malang-Abdul Rachman Saleh Airport when the incident occurred, resulting in the fatalities of both pilots. The circumstances leading to the crash remain unclear, and the aircraft were completely destroyed, marking a significant loss for the Indonesian Air Force. Plus Ultra A340 Engine Trouble; Safe Return to Madrid

A Plus Ultra Airbus A340-300, EC-MQM, operating as Cubana de Aviacion's flight CU-471, experienced engine issues while flying from Madrid, Spain to Santiago, Cuba. Mid-flight, approximately 320 nautical miles west of Lisbon, Portugal, the aircraft encountered a problem with one of its CFM56 engines, prompting the crew to return to Madrid.
