The 3 days of Christmas are realistically more like 14 days of diet sabotage. From the second week in December the parties start. In December we participate in more socializing that involves food than any other month of the year. On average people in the UK eat between 5,000 and 6,000 calories on Christmas day - that is 3 days supply for most of us. Every year we tell ourselves, our friends and our family we are not going to over do it this year. Then once again we eat until we feel like we are going to explode and vow we’ll never eat again, only to do it all over again on boxing day.
So for anyone who is serious about having a brilliant Christmas that helps increase your energy but not your waist line here are my 12 days of Christmas Tips for a Happy Healthy Energised Christmas. These are the best gifts you will have this christmas - you just need to use them. Today is the December the 14th so follow all of these and I guarantee you will be so pleased and smug about how great you look and feel. Plus its a great start to 2021.
Day 1. If you are not doing this already start today. No eating after your evening meal which should be no later than 8 pm for last mouthful. then no eating again until 14 hours later . So if you finish at 8 you don't eat breakfast until 10 am next day. Our body works hard while we keep on our repair and detoxing. It also process unwanted fat from our fat cells.
Our HGH (human Growth Hormone) This hormone about 190 amino acids that is synthesized and secreted by cells called somatotrophs in the anterior pituitary. It is a major participant in control of several complex physiologic processes, including growth and metabolism. It also helps us keep younger looking skin. Overnight fasting, reducing fast sugar foods and not eating before bed time all help the production of this hormone. Some people buy HGH and take or inject it but this can lead to undesirable side effects. Like all the things made by our body the best way to increase it is to look after your body's own supply!
