Fast renovation of electrically conductive floorings
FLOOR SEALER 300 Antistatic is a low-emission, pigmented 2-component top sealer on the basis of polyurethane. It is applied onto electrically conductive top floors that are no longer visually appealing after a certain period of use. Alternatively, non-conductive coverings can also be converted into a volume-conductive floor.
For this purpose, the surface coverings are sealed twice in colour with FLOOR SEALER 300 Antistatic?after gluing in KLB copper strips. This results in a plain-coloured, electrically conductive, matt surface.
The products and systems from the FLOOR SEALER range are certified with "Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold" and EMICODE EC1plus as particularly low-emission and environmentally friendly. The coverings can also be adjusted with slip-resistance grade R10.
Saving one work step: using EP 77
EP 77 is an electrically highly conductive, ready-to-use 2-component epoxy resin primer that serves as a pore-closing scratch coat and conductive layer in one single work step. Thanks to its specially formulated conductive technology, no further conductive coating needs to be applied!
The light grey, dissipative intermediate layer is applied to a hardened primer after the copper strips have been glued on. The product is solvent-free, low-emission and can be used in combination with various conductive or ESD-protection KLB coatings. Learn more.
Object Insight: Flooring in an OP room
With the electrically conductive PU 413 EL+ flow coating, the basis for a dissipative floor covering in the operating theatres of this project was created over an area of around 135 m2.
The hardened coating is suitable for surfaces where an antistatic or electrically conductive flooring is required –?which is an elementary prerequisite in the medical sector.
