I needed to save this post for my grand children, and this is definitely a milestone to be shared! Ultra scalable, easy to use, rapid sensor to cloud mesh-networking at its finest!
DINGO/Mesh? It's definitely BACnet/Mesh, but we need to put some branding on it as well... We'll see.
This was originally posted by Phillip Kopp here and it was one of those things that I had to share!
Thanks to the amazing group at Go-IoT, #thebuildingwhisperer Nicolas Waern and his team, we now have Conectric Networks dynamic mesh, wireless battery powered sensors natively communicating on BACnet/Mesh networks. This is a real #gamechanger as the traditional world of building automation has been hesitant to bring the concept of #opensystems and #iot into the fold. Many traditionalists fear having to learn new technologies or compromise their roles to the upper ranks of IT managers. Not anymore! With BACnet/Mesh you get all the benefits of #realtime #machinelearning in a native #BACnet environment. No need to learn new software. Stay in control of your programming sequences. #rewireyourbuildingwithoutwires!
As Nicolas would say "ask not what you can do for your building, but what your building can do for you!"
Just awesome Mr Waern, I think I mentioned this earlier from Mr Andy Warhol: Is that what Pop Art is all about? AW: Yes. It’s liking things. And liking things is like being a machine? AW: Yes, because you do the same thing every time. You do it over and over again. And you approve of that? AW: Yes, because it’s all fantasy. And I want to be a machine, because they have less problems... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7bX0eov9BY So buildings, cities, machines, industries should just work and function accordingly. Take care and we talk!
