On the evening of 20 September 2024, the EYA Alumni networking session, "Fast & Furious with Maybank ”, brought together entrepreneurial luminaries against the thrilling backdrop of the F1 practice sessions. Co-hosted by ASME, it celebrated past and present winners of the Enterprise of the Year Award (EYA) . More than just a formal gathering – it was a vibrant celebration of entrepreneurial spirit, filled with energy and enthusiasm. Attendees mingled well into the night, building valuable connections and sharing their success stories. The atmosphere was electric, with conversations flowing seamlessly, fostering a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect among the participants.?

The EYA remains one of Singapore’s most prestigious business accolades, celebrating local entrepreneurs on a national platform for 33 years. Lawrence's experience in employing individuals with disabilities at a global logistics company inspired him to create a business that combines exceptional customer service, tech support, digital services, and sales. Guided by the values of altruism, integrity, and diligence, Octopus8 has rapidly grown to become one of Singapore's fastest-growing tech companies in the social service sector, boasting a client base of over 30 BSB contracts.
