OUR BIG BETS
Microgrids
The use of microgrids, or a self-contained electrical network that lets you generate your own energy on-site, has been growing in popularity alongside more widespread and accessible renewable energy installations, including solar. Companies that specialize in either commercial installations or smaller-scale private setups, manufacturers of the parts and components of these systems, and Microgrid-as-a-Service companies will benefit from the growth of the U.S. market, which is expected to expand from $11 billion to more than $34 billion by 2030.
Travel insurance
Despite inflation and economic ups and downs, Americans are traveling in droves. A survey by Forbes found that 87% of Americans expected to travel at least as much in 2023 as they did in 2022, and 49% expected to travel more. The continued growth in travel, combined with tech development and increasing travel laws and regulations
Sensitive skin products
According to a 2022 study by Aveeno, more than 71% of individuals have sensitive skin, and the number of people who self-identify as having sensitive skin has increased by 55% over the past couple of decades. These factors, along with a growing awareness among consumers
External analgesics
The U.S. external analgesics market is currently valued at more than $2.4 billion, and is expected to skyrocket to $6.5 billion by 2030, driven by an increasing incidence of chronic diseases and disorders, pressure for shorter hospital stays, and lingering industry disruptions and transformations due to the pandemic. Manufacturers and distributors of hot/cold products, kinesiology tape, heating pads, TENS devices, and red light therapy products/infrared therapy products will all benefit from the growth in this sector.

1 年Definitely see what's happening with Sensitive skincare as a consumer of those goods myself. Seeing as many Sensitive options are formulated with fewer ingredients compared to their "non-sensitive" counterparts and how inflation is increasing the prices of goods, brands may be leaning towards this as a way to cut costs (fewer ingredients) while going with the trends that market Sensitive products as more budget-friendly. Just a thought from a consumer. ?? On the note for Travel insurance, I'm glad this is picking up with how much has happened and changed. People are slowly but surely understanding what types of insurance works for them and Travel insurance doesn't hurt for protecting your more involved and costly trips.
