RISK VS REWARD
Taking risks and trying something new are part of being a good creative, and to developing the most impactful creative work. It’s in the challenges, the things that feel scary and difficult, where you take the biggest chances and can find the biggest rewards. So it’s only natural that it’s the same when it comes to your career.
I’ve always found that it’s the opportunities that scare and challenge me most that are the ones I should grab with both hands. It’s where you’ll create the best work and discover the most about yourself and what you’re capable of.?
KNOW YOUR SKILLS

COMMUNICATION IS KEY
Any creative industry, when boiled down to the simplest form, revolves around communication. Finding the sweet spot wherein two totally different worlds meet, bringing unique perspectives and ultimately, utilising tried and tested skills from a different sector can play to your advantage.
As creatives, we always strive to be the very best at our craft. When considering switching industries it's important to identify what turns you on, where your passions are and ultimately?- what inspires and excites you enough to take on the challenge.
You may not start out as the expert, but if you find a niche wherein you can speak with passion, conviction and bring an inspired perspective - you'll soon find that confidence and grounding in a new creative discipline.
