South Korea’s apparel imports reached $1,020.137 million in July 2024, which was 2.30 per cent higher than the imports of $997.712 million in the corresponding period of the previous year. According to the latest figures released by the Korea Customs Service, the country imported apparel worth $737.092 million in June 2024. Therefore, the inbound trade surged by 38.39 per cent on a month-on-month basis.


Australia's imports of apparel and clothing accessories increased by 14.68 per cent to $1.148 billion in July 2024, the first month of the new fiscal 2024-25 (July-June). According to the latest trade data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), the country had imported apparel and clothing accessories worth $1.001 billion in July 2023.
